Thank you so much for your post. I’ve been harassed to the point where I had to get hospitalized because my F/O is a minor in canon and everyone called me a pedophile even though I aged him up. I tried so hard to hate him and get away from him but I never could… Despite all this I still love him very much and I think I always will.

I was really hesitant to join the self ship community when I learned about it last year, because at the time, my most intense f/o was a high school student (Mukuro) and i had seen so much hostility from some people about that kind of thing.
You absolutely did not deserve any of the abuse or harassment that you received and I hope you know that.
I hope that you can break through those feelings of self loathing and find joy with your F/O again. There is always space for you in the proselfship community.
Liking a character who is canonically underage doesn’t make you a pedophile, and almost no one in the world would even suggest that it does. Fancops are the outliers.

I’ve been meaning to write this fic between a s/i OC of mine and a yandere version of a character from MHA. But I’m scared to post it. I keep pysching myself out of doing it. Like is it too self-indulgent? Is there some things I need to work out here since it’s gonna involve a lot(and I mean A LOT)of dark and triggering topics that I have experienced IRL? Am I being racially insensitive with my s/i being a mixed race person in a country that doesn’t like racial diversity despite being in a similar position? Can’t explain it. One of my f/os has this weird…son/clone thing of himself, who is super evil. I love thinking about him realizing that, realizing that this awful dictator who dropped an actual nuke on his own city, who pays people to commit crime, is…in some way, himself. One of the smaller things I hate about (most) anti is how.. in denial they are about their own hypocrisydo some people who are proship not take criticism well?
