You’re right. It’s because they’re all synonyms, and they all mean the same thing.
They mean “I don’t like you because you aren’t like me, and I only want people who are acceptably like me to exist.”
Chronically online, touch grass, and brain rot/wormsAll feel like gross phrases to me as they are just conversation stopping insults on the same lines as “get a life” They just seem like bullies new favourite phrase (and it’s ironic bc they appeared after the lockdowns after everyone had just spent two years inside)
