Did I ever tell you about the shit I saw about how shipping a character with his alternate personality was problematic for being selfcest or “pseudo-incest”? Not a thought spared as to how they were different or how some of the many systems I’ve met date within each other orz
Yeah I saw this in the Moon Knight fandom. I have also seen antis say this to real-ass plurals like me, that we were in some kind is incestuous relationship for dating in-system.
As if in-system relationships aren’t incredibly common

Remember there is/was more to your life than canon shows on screen/page.
When people write fiction, it’s common to leave out what the author feels is boring, and to concentrate on the more exciting, dangerous, stressful, and terrifying moments.
There is more to your life than that. Even if canon never shows your downtime. Even if it only shows your worst moments.
There are good moments. There was rest. There is tenderness. Even if no one else gets to see it.
It is in you.
That plurality moment when they ask for your name for a fast food order, and you know you hesitated a second too long deciding which name to give.
