The Berlin safehouse was pretty dingy. The mattress was pretty dingy too. They were lucky it even had a sheet on it.
Sabretooth didn’t care. He was more than just content. He was happy.
His big, hairy, muscular body was wrapped neatly around the half-sleeping form of his lover. Leni Zauber.
He stroked her face fondly with a large, sharp-nailed hand.
She was gorgeous, that much was indisputable. But what he really liked was everything else. How she held herself. How she smelled. The rough, direct way she spoke to him. The way she made love. The way she danced.
A guy could get used to this. It was the kind of thing that made guys go AWOL.
He was thinking, seriously, of continuing to be awol. Maybe permanently.
“Got a hell of a thing for you, Leni,” he murmured to his half sleeping lover.
“You too,” she murmured back.

I’m so glad you said “enjoying bad throughts doesn’t make you bad” cause everyone always says “as long as your intrusive thoughts upset or scare you then you are a good person”
The only thing that makes you a bad person is deliberately doing actual, real harmful actions.
You can enjoy all the bad thoughts in your head I will never, ever make you a bad person.
If you are a person who:
- Has violent, abusive, harmful, or destructive thoughts
- Enjoys having violent, abusive, harmful, or destructive thoughts
- Enjoys fiction with violent, abusive, harmful, or destructive characters
- Creates fiction with violent, abusive, harmful, or destructive chacters
And you do not actually do any violent, abusive, harmful or destructive actions
You are not a bad person.
You are a good person.
Thoughts and fiction do not define morality.
Actions define morality.
Having or enjoying bad thoughts or bad fiction doesn’t mean you will act on those feelings.
Liking negative themes in fiction or having daydreams about harmful actions will not cause you to do harm.
Thoughts and fiction aren’t harmful.
I am so dreadfully tired of all these “"antis”“ who think that it’s charming and noble to dictate to other people what stories they’re allowed to tell and how they are and are not allowed to play make believe.
It’s not charming. It’s tedious and tiresome.

I don’t give a fuck if a ship is “healthy”. I don’t want my ship to be “healthy”, I want it to be interesting.
I don’t ship a pairing solely based on how cute they are together, or how they’re always there for each other, or how they always manage to make things work. That’s boring. Literally dull as fuck. Honestly, I’m already dozing off. I don’t care if it may be “healthy”. I don’t care if it may be “unhealthy”, either.
I think this is why a lot of people enjoy problematic ships. It spices things up. It makes it more interesting. It introduces many new ways that make the relationship complex or difficult. How a character is going to handle an abusive relationship? Or someone hating themselves so much to the point where they think they deserve to die for dating someone underage? Or the rising tension as two characters have to keep their illegal relationship a secret, with the worry of getting caught one day? Well now I’m actually hooked. Because this gives so many opportunities to make a ship dark and angsty. And that’s what I like.
And yes, of course, “healthy” ships can be interesting, too. They can still be worth shipping. They can still have elements to them that don’t make them boring, and in which case, sure, I’ll still ship it. Because I don’t choose to focus on the fact that it’s “unproblematic”. I choose to focus on what makes it complex or deep.
I understand certain ships might not be for everybody, and that’s okay. But I will say, if you ship something just for the sole reason that it’s “unproblematic”? Then yeah, I’m sorry, but you’re boring as fuck. You could not sound like more of a goody-two-shoes if you tried.
