Really wish antis would understand that no matter what the source material contains, fandom is not for kids. If you wanna bitch and moan about adults in adult spaces for kid’s media, then take these kids out of the fandoms for adult media. But yall are defending their right to be in the Danganronpa fandom, but god forbid an adult wants to enjoy The Owl House fandom.

If you’re an adult they think you’re a weirdo who should get out of fandom. Any fandom. “Go do your taxes.”

in one of my fandoms, it’s very popular fanon that a group of robots are brothers and their creator is their father. i selfship with all of them (polygamy rules!) and at first i tried justifying it by saying “oh they’re not related,” and “it’s not canon,” but eventually i just gave up since the fandom is really aggressive about it and now i have my own incestuous harem born out of spite. hooray for unlearning the anti mindset in fun ways! (ps, i love seeing fellow proship selfshippers! it’s really refreshing.)

The fact that there are so many antis I’m the self ship community is why it took me so long to start participating, but I have met so many great proship selfshippers, and I believe we are all making the community better together by being here! Glad you are with us anon! 🥰
