A Proship Is a Ship That Is Problematic (ex: a Ship with an adult and a Child/teen, A Ship Bettwen siblings/cousins, or Ship with Problematic HCs). The people That Ship this kind of Ships are called Proshippers, and the popular fandoms are Genshin impact, Project SEKAI, Danganronpa, ETC. Proshippers are Problematic cause the normalize Ped0philia and inc3st and unluckily, They are pretty popular on apps like TikTok and Tumblr.

An Age Gap Is a Trope/cliche were Two Characters (usally lovers) Who have Different ages (ex: the girl can be 14 and the boy can be 15). There Is no wrong with This Trope, however, there Is a Problem when the ages are more than 10 of diffrence. This Trope Isn’t Problematic, however, check the ages of the Characters so You can be sure It Is legal.

Chapter 3 – When It Is Too Much?

It Is too much when the Characters’s ages are Problematic and the realtionship Bettwen the Characters Is Problematic, plus, people Who support this unluckily exist in this great world and seems That no One Is there to stop them.

Chapter 4 – Conclusion

In the end, don’t Ship Proships, and if you see someone proshipping, don’t Send them HATE, Just report them.

That is not the correct definition of proship.

Proship does not describe a type of ship it describes a type of shipper.

Proship means Pro (in favor of) shipping. It refers to people who don’t care what other people ship, and think it’s okay for anyone to ship whatever they want.

The word you are looking for is comship, which means complicated ship.

How do you specifically define anti-shipper? I’ve heard some different stuff to define it. Some of it sounds genuinely bad but some of it sounds like some pretty basic sort of beliefs to have about fiction.

I’m gonna stop you right there and make one thing absolutely clear; Everything you’ve heard from antis that actually sounds reasonable is not actually disagreeable to proshippers. I don’t think that’s what you meant when you said that necessarily, I just thought it was worth noting for anyone else who might be reading this.

I define an antishipper as a person who believes that reading or writing about certain dark topics is unethical, specifically regarding abusive relationships and power imbalances, sexual abuse, and incest. Some say it’s because desensitization to these topics will lead to harm in real life while others seem to believe that pure thought alone is a crime or that abuse of fictional characters is wrong.

Now, even that definition doesn’t really apply a lot of the time, because the antishipping movement actually started due to a particularly bad ship war and a lot of antis just decide something is problematic after they’ve already claimed or rejected a ship, but generally that’s the premise.

i wouldn’t say that’s what an anti shipper is. Reading about problematic ships is not the problem; it’s the shipping or endorsement of those ships. it’s the condemnation of those ships. as long as the book or fanfic or whatever the hell else isn’t condemning those things it’s totally fine to me and to most of us

Also, fyi, most people who ship problematic things don’t condone those things irl, and we actively try to weed out the ones who do because then that isn’t being proship anymore

Speaking as a fictionkin and fictive system member you cannot in good conscience try to tell people in fandom what they can and can’t do with the character in your source material that represents you.

You, as a person walking around and existing in this world, are separate from that concept of the character that exists in fiction and fandom– and even if you don’t believe that you must admit that it is extremely rude to try to control the behavior of others.

I meant “y’all” as in proshippers in general, not you individually. I should’ve specified that.

I don’t normally butt in on discourse but

I personally would sit in my little corner and daydream and cook and make sure people were safe enough to talk. That seems very important, just having someone to vent to while they cook the food you’ll be eating with your friends and family in just a little bit.

Also idk but “LOL you guys would totally 100% kill and eat each other” is just…such a weird thing to think about. If this is a common thought for you, I think it would be best to write or draw it out, so you can process why you feel the need to see people in a situation like this.
