Antis like to think nobody off tumblr cares about their censorship bullshit, but they’ll be unhappy to learn that, off tumblr, people just don’t call them “antis”. They call them moral panickers and, of course, censorship advocates. A la the satanic panickers, video game causing violence panickers, etc. Lots and lots of examples in history. Antis just like to think because they have a ‘cutesy tumblr name’ for themselves, they’re not as significant and it’s both alarming and strongly indicative of their own grossly distorted perspective..

Fancops like to have it both ways.

On the one hand they consider their bullying and abuse to have no affect on people because its “just online” and its “words on a screen”.

But at the same time they insist that everybody out in the real world agrees with them and thinks proshippers are disgusting.

They’re wrong about both things.

antis have gotten worse since the last time i was involved with their following. back then it used to be “that’s gross dni” and now its gotten to “women are only into ‘gross’ media bc they’re incapable of thought”. which is something i never thought i would see with my own eyes. I’m not sure if you’ve seen it, but recently, an “aspiring librarian” said with their whole chest that if anyone asked them where the “incest, gore, etc. books were” that they would burn the place down.which dissolved into a long line of ppl saying they would do the same and how it was the “morally correct thing to do”.you know, “for the children”. – 💔

I think the anti numbers are diminishing, but the rhetoric gets closer and closer to other conservative stuff.

It’s what we call a “moral panic.” :C

honestly, antis being super transphobic is because a majority of them choked on that terf juice, because anti ideology is rooted in terfism and swerfism, plain and simple. it’s unfortunate, and tbh it has only gotten worse over the years – 🌧🍬

I was reading a few webtoons and people really keep saying that fat male characters look like pedophiles. Even when they are evil characters, the fatphobia and the hatred for ugly men is kinda oof, how do they know pedophiles look like that anyway
