context: this is a continuation of an argument between Toko and another user. That user was a slenderman enthusiast (who appears to self-ship with slenderman) who was accusing proshippers of creating “content for pedophiles.”
This post is meant to point out the hypocrisy of being a slenderman fan who is against proshipping.

Chris felt an ache of lust that was almost painful between his legs, as Wesker straddled his lap.
The former STARS captain turned bioterrorist had a sadistic smirk twisted on his lips, his black glasses reflecting Chris’ bound form, his hands tied behind him in the chair he was strapped to.
Chris squirmed underneath him, as much as he could, humiliated to know that Wesker could certainly feel the thick bulge of his cock against the other man.
Wesker cupped his chin roughly with one gloved hand, and pulled his face up to look at him. He held a syringe in his other hand, brandishing it in Chris’ peripheral vision.
He stroked his lips with his thumb. “I hope you aren’t getting cold feet, Chris. Remember, you asked for this. Begged me not to leave you behind.”
A shiver crept through Chris’ body. It was true, even if it disgusted him. He had begged. And here was the result. He didn’t have cold feet, not exactly, but it was hard not to squirm. He felt his heart pounding in his chest, thinking about what Wesker was going to do to him.
He flushed, and looked away. But he stopped struggling.
Wesker patted Chris cheek fondly. “Good boy. Now, shall we begin?”
Chris felt the syringe press to his throat.

A friend of Toko’s who is sadly no longer with us got us to finally engage with the community last year, and it has been a great experience for all of us.
The self ship community, especially the proship selfship community is just a really fun space where we have found that people actually interact and engage with one another together in a shared space in a way that I pretty much thought had died out on livejoural or early Tumblr.
It makes it pretty easy to ignore the few jerks and assholes when there’s so much love around.

Took me still some more time to finally get the courage but we finally did it. We got a blog and going to try being a loud shipper and talk with others.

Some beginner tips:
- Don’t be afraid to gush. Cringe is dead and we are all free
- The more you interact with people off anon, the more they will interact with you.
- People love responses to their self ship posting, and if you respond to people you likes self ship posts its more likely they’ll respond to yours
- ask games are great for prompts and a great excuse to talk about your F/Os
- practice reblog karma– if you reblog an ask game from someone, send them an ask from the list!
- tag tag tag!
- write F/O imagines. even if you don’t think your ideas are relatable, you will be surprised!
- don’t be offended if someone does end up blocking you due to a shared F/O. Not everyone likes to share and that’s okay.
- you can talk about your F/Os however you want. Some people talk about their F/Os with a low degree of separation, some keep blorbo at arms length.
Chris here. I blocked that person, which was what should have been done in the first place.
I’ll clean up the mess later, and yes, post the sources jack and Toko promised, but that person wasn’t going to listen and it’s unhealthy to let Jack and Toko get themselves all worked up over having their trauma dismissed.
