FEBUWHUMP 2023 IS HERE!

the prompts this year were chosen through a suggestion poll and subsequent vote, where over 350 people voted for their favourites. the top 28 make up the core prompts, and a mixture of the next most popular and this blog’s personal favourites have become the alternatives!

i’m so excited to see what you all create with these prompts, and hope they’re inspiring enough to trigger a whole month’s worth of creativity for you! if you have any questions, make sure to check out the blog’s FAQ, or check out the previously asked questions on the blog before sending one of your own!

please note: this year, notifying the blog of completionist status will happen through a google form that will be released closer to the end of febuwhump.

Love confession prompts:

CW for mention of death

  1. They’re drunk and you’re carrying them to their room, when they unexpectedly say how much they love you, causing you to drop them on the floor
  2. They end the phone call with an accidental “love you”, leaving you flustered
  3. Confessing before being separated for an uncertain period of time
  4. Asking them how your name + their surname would sound like (or/and vice versa)
  5. Accidentally confessing while laughing over something
  6. Saying “I love you” while they’re sleeping/unconscious/in coma. You know well that they can’t hear you, but a small part of you hopes they did
  7. Always giving each other yellow roses for valentine’s day, when one day you see that you’ve got red roses instead
  8. Tears drench your cheeks as you confess. The last thing you hear before dying is them screaming your name
  9. Confessing at the same place where they first met
  10. Scolding them for doing something stupid, wondering “why did I have to fall for you” and not realising that you just said that out loud
