the prompts this year were chosen through a suggestion poll and subsequent vote, where over 350 people voted for their favourites. the top 28 make up the core prompts, and a mixture of the next most popular and this blogβs personal favourites have become the alternatives!
iβm so excited to see what you all create with these prompts, and hope theyβre inspiring enough to trigger a whole monthβs worth of creativity for you! if you have any questions, make sure to check out the blogβs FAQ, or check out the previously asked questions on the blog before sending one of your own!
please note: this year, notifying the blog of completionist status will happen through a google form that will be released closer to the end of febuwhump.
Chris lay in his bed in the facility, letting Wesker curl around him like a cat.
Wesker, now that he was back, he looked so young. He looked just like he did back then, when everything had gone so wrong. Just like when he has been the captain of STARS, and Chris had been his faithful lieutenant.
Wesker looked the same; beautiful and whole, unscarred by the years between them.
Looking at him made Chris feel old, And haggard, monstrous even, like some disheveled beast.
He tried to find the words to tell Wesker how he was feeling, but words failed him, as they always seemed to.
This time, at least, his former captain seemed to understand.
He cupped Chris’ stubbly chin with his hand, and leaned in.
He kissed Chris on the scar across his eyebrow, and the one over his nose.
“Still as handsome as ever, Chris,” Wesker murmured to him. “I ought to be jealous.”
Not even if everything they say seems to upset you/anger you more. They won’t ignore you or stop trying to help.
Not even if you’re isolating yourself from them and other loved ones. They will be there whenever you’re ready to talk again.
Not even if you aren’t taking care of yourself or using healthy coping mechanisms. They don’t blame you.
Not even if you’ve been having more and more fights and you’re questioning how long this is going to last. They will fight for this relationship.
They will fight for you. They’re not going to give up. It might be hard on them to see you in pain, or have conflict with you, or not be able to help, but it is never hard for them to love you.
