🍁 – How did your f/o and s/i meet?

Well you see we were both going after spider man at the time, and it was a bit of the ‘so how’s about we team up’ (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧

💛 – Do you like the source material your f/o came from? (it’s okay if you don’t or do!)

Honestly Otto is in SO MUCH source material it’s hard not to love some of it and hate others. I loved his stuff in the comics the 90s with Carolyn Trainer and Stunner. The 90s animated series has some charm. The Spider Man 2 movie has Alfred Molina’s performance to recommend it.

And I’m gonna say it. I love Slott’s “Superior Spider-Man” book.

For those of you who don’t know, that’s a recent (ish) run in the comics where Otto took over Peter Parker’s body and started living his life and trying to improve it; to beat Spider-Man at being Spider-Man. The way Slott writes Otto is very authentic to the way I’ve always known him. Even if Slott’s writing has some… Problems… In other areas.

🔫🦢 Answering about BB again.

💜 – How does your f/o and s/i flirt?

The answer is… Mostly badly (and I love him for it).

He’ll do not exactly pick up lines, but goofy jokes, usually about weird topics. Or he’ll get really into a conversation about gun minutiae, or history, or camping. We flirted about camping a lot getting to know one another. And joking about all the things that would put us in the hospital 🤣

🌷 – How different is your f/o in your head compared to canon?

Very much the same in personality and manner, at least in terms of how we see BB as Snake in mgs3, pw, and so on. My BB has a very different path through the timeline/different events though. For instance there is no Venom in our timeline, just BB.

🧡 – What’s an unpopular opinion you have about your f/o?

I’ve seen so little of the actual fandom, I don’t know what’s unpopular or not. I will say he’s probably neither as goofy, nor as unhinged as people make him out to be. Okay you know what here’s one, I think the ‘bb believes in santa’ meme is dumb. :p
