“all proshippers are transphobes” cool, then wtf is up with all the misgendering I got when antis decided me coping with transphobia through fiction was unacceptable and reflected my real life beliefs. Any explanation for why they called me a transphobe and a cishet girl WHILE knowing I’m a trans guy?

Because fancops weaponize progressive language against their enemies in order to demonize and harass them.

If fancops think you’re a proshipper they don’t respect you, and will feel free to use any kind of hurtful language on you that they please without thinking there will be a consequence.

“Venn diagram between proshippers and transphobes is a circle” I’ve seen MANY antis say that someone was gaming being trans BECAUSE they were proshippers, or just full on misgendering and deadnaming people because they’re proshippers

  • Don’t respect anyone who disagrees with them
  • feel empowered to use hateful language on anyone who disagrees with them
  • use words like “racist” and “transphobe” not caring about their actual meaning, but as ways to paint a target for harassment on people who disagree with them, without revealing that the actual disagreement is shipping wars.
