Wesker benefits heavily off of a shy darling, their meek nature makes it easy for him to wiggle in with his charisma and make a place just for him. It’s also easier to scare off any potential romantic threats when you’d rather hang around him than with someone who you don’t know. After all, he’s the captain. He’s the founder of STARS. With military experience and a extremely smart head for tactics, there’s little that any competition can do.
He’ll see you more of a pet that he keeps around at first, enjoying your shy nature, but then that evolves into obsession after the Arklay mansion incident. Going as far as to hunt you down and drag you back into his arms. To him, it’s love, in reality it’s obsession, and it’s just another way for him to feel like a god. Having someone as shy as you only be around him and not even attempt to talk to the others, clinging to him and sometimes hiding yourself in him, he gets off on that.
Your shy nature makes him rather protective, whether or not you can protect yourself is not relevant, he’s the only one you need. He will do anything to make sure you know that. Even if it means killing what’s left of STARS, your family, your friends, all so you have no one else to rely on. Only him.
