One of my favorite ships rn has a dedicated discord that’s run by antis. Which is annoying enough, but the ship itself makes it hilarious because of how problematic it can be. It’s Stanley/The Narrator from the Stanley Parable, and in canon:- Stanley kills himself possibly just to spite the Narrator, despite him pleading for him to stop.- The Narrator kills Stanley outright at least once, and eggs him into doing it himself at least once. – Stanley effectively leaves the Narrator alone to lose his sanity entirely. – The Narrator is suuuper controlling in canon.- The Narrator plays some pretty mean tricks on Stanley, and insults him fairly frequently. Like idk why antis ship them or are into TSP. Baffling.

“No, no, no, Stanley,” the narrator purrs, amiable as usual, “you aren’t supposed to live here; you’re supposed to die!”

“Shhhh, Stanley, do you feel that? My fingers around your throat? Getting dizzy yet? Nothing to worry about, just the life leaving your body.”

“Just relax, Stanley, let it happen. Feel my weight on you, like a stone, sinking you to the bottom of the ocean. It’s where you belong.”

“Oh don’t make that face, Stanley, we both know you’ll be back when it’s done. Just enjoy it. Let me enjoy it… That’s right, still… Still… Gentle…”

“Goodbye, Stanley.”
