24. If the two of you are apart for a long time, who takes it the hardest? Ocelot. I tend to get lonely yes, but I’m used to long engagements alone. When I leave the base, I can sometimes come back to find him loitering around my cell waiting for me to come back.
When I’m gone for a long period of time, I know it hurts him. I’ll get radio calls checking up on me, or just to talk…

36. Who apologizes the most?
Probably me. I often sign that I’m sorry in different situations. Either when I’ve hurt someone on base, or I’ve upset Ocelot in some way…I jump to apologize , where he will often save it for when it’s needed, and otherwise not.
Imagine your you and your military F/O out in the field together deep behind enemy lines.
As the bullets fly overhead their hand finds yours, and you see them smile and wink in your direction.
Things may look bad, but they know you’re getting out of this alive. They promised a proper date when you got back to base, and they haven’t broken a promise yet.
The two of you grab your rifles the moment there’s a lull in the suppresive fire. It’s now or never.
father and son, tipsy, smiling, throwing a look or two to check what the rest of the family is doing (distracted). a peck on the cheek, playful. a kiss returned, brushing this side of the lips, that side of appropriate.
a meeting, in the cold crystal air, under the stars, under no one’s eyes.
Imagine your F/O seated at your feet, your hands entwined delicately through their hair as you run your fingers through it. The lights are low, and the room nearly silent save for the soft sound of music from an old phonograph.
Today is the day your plans together come to fruition. The world will finally see just what you have planned for it. You show them a touch of affection. They’ve done so much, after all. You pet their hair lovingly, looking down upon them as the music plays.
All that’s left is to wait for the pieces to fall into place, just you and them together.

Imagine your parental f/o taking you out to a special dinner, but it’s really just a date. No one else knows about it. Just one night with the two of you.
They’ve been working hard and finally found time to be with you. You were over the moon when they asked you. You put on your best clothes. Imagine their face when you walk out of your room looking so good. They’ve only really seen you in your normal clothes, so it is a wonderful sight to see you all dressed up.
Other people just assume that you’re a couple, or it’s just a cute parent + child dinner.
Your parental f/o picking a secluded spot in a restaurant, or a private room. That way you can sneak in all the cuddles and kisses you want. You could sit in their lap, or vice versa, and feed each other.
After, imagine all of the post-dinner things you do. Walking along a boardwalk at night so you get to hook arms or hold hands without anyone seeing. Taking you to your favorite store to spoil you. Go see a movie. Whatever you like.
It doesn’t matter where you go. If you’re there with them, they’ll enjoy it.
