Jill keeps following people around with mistletoe, trying to get them to kiss her. But she’s too short to hold it over most of her target’s heads. 😉

Chris: Tells her if she wants a kiss, she should just ask for it. (and kisses her, obviously)

Wesker: Pretends he doesn’t notice all day, winding her up about it, before finally catching her under the mistletoe he put up.

Heisenberg: grabs the mistletoe from her and holds if over her head until she kisses him.

Carlos: gets down on his knees so she can hold it over him, and kisses her every time she does.

Nikolai: tells her to be careful what she wishes for, and drags her off to make out.

Leon: Is also carrying around mistletoe, and they end up in a game of kissing tag.

Chris held Jill close to his body in the darkness. It had been two weeks since the Arklay incident. They had both spent some of that two weeks in isolation. Now they were back together, in Jill’s apartment. They’d been up late into the night, holding each other, and talking about what would have to be done.

Chris would be leaving in the morning.

He didn’t want to, but he had to.

God only knew when he’d be back.

And so he held on to Jill tightly for the moment, and before he finally succumbed to the bone-weariness that seduced him down into sleep, he kissed her gently one more time.

Goodnight, Jill.

He wasn’t looking forward to the morning.

Chris felt so lucky just to get to hold Jill in his arms. 

After everything they had been through, both together and separately. Hell, he had spent months thinking that she was dead. Finding out she had been alive–even with all the baggage that came with– was one of the best things that had ever happened to him.

He pulled her close to him, the both of them snuggled under the covers of their, at least temporarily shared bed, and nuzzled the back of her neck as she lay there half asleep.

He planted soft kisses on her shoulders, and the back of her head. Each one was an affirmation.

I love you.

I will always love you.

I am so glad you are here.

It had started as just a goof between them, Chris kissing Jill on top of the head when he saw her at work every morning. He was a good deal taller than her and it just made it easy.

Then one day she beat him to the punch and tilted her face up. Chris’ lips ended up against hers, instead of the top of her head.

Obviously it was a power move, and the only way for Chris to win was not to get flustered like she was expecting.

He kissed her on the lips again the next morning.

Chris stared at his desk in the S.T.A.R.S. office for a mong moment. It was supposed be there.

He shuffled papers back and forth, opened drawers, checked the floor. Nowhere.

He sighed. “Jill?”

She looked up from her own desk and hopped over, leaning on Chris’ chair. “What’s up, buddy?”

“Jill did you eat the candy bar I left on my desk?”

She didn’t say anything. Instead, she leaned forward and planted a kiss on his mouth.

She tasted strongly of chocolate.
