Ship it!

What made you ship it?

The cute, awkward stage at the beginning, where they were getting to know one another in reverse. Especially Kanaya’s hero worship of Rose and her imaginary troll version of Rose!

What are your favorite things about the ship?

  • They don’t spend a lot of time trying to change one another.
  • Human/nonhuman pairings are just neat.
  • There’s no clear het-like dynamic between them.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

It is not NEARLY as wholesome and uwu as people usually show it. They miss the toxic codependent angle.

Bonus: is it a sinister system relationship?

Yes! Kanaya is in sinister system, and rose is in our partner system.

What made you ship it?

A blind person could see this ship. If nothing else, the tragic coin flip cemented it. But I’d say we shipped it from their first interaction.

What are your favorite things about the ship?

  • Scourge sisters! Extreme! Goblin! Energy!
  • Tragic and longing
  • Swings from hilarious to angsty.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Might be unpopular: they share John Egbert.

Yes! Vriska (😼🔪) is in sinister and Terezi is in our partner system.

1. what are the basics of your self insert? name, date of birth, height, etc.?

Jasmine Harley was born around 1998, in terms of Earth time. She never gets to be more than about 4’8 inches tall– she’s tiny! She has long, wavy black hair and wears frilly tea dress and gothic lolita style outfits.

4. would you be considered a main character, side character, villain, or something else?

Being from Homestuck, Jasmine is one of a large ensemble of main characters, and one of the four main characters of her specific part of the story.

She could in some ways be considered an antagonist, due to the way she initially appears to have screwed up the game by falling in with the villains (the dersite agents)
