This is really random but I hope you don’t mind me asking! I recently got a f/o for a debatably problematic source (creators might be really bad people, idk enough to say) but I was unaware at the time.I really like this f/o and don’t want to start selfshipping with them, and with the way I interact with fandoms I don’t really even itract with creators (I mainly focus on fan content and my own stuff)Would it be bad of me to keep the f/o? I don’t want to leave them but I also don’t want to be part of the problem you know?

Allow me to reassure you: liking fiction that’s by a bad person, even if it’s a really bad person, does not make YOU a bad person.

You can enjoy a piece of fiction without supporting the author or their ideals.

You having an F/O from a source with a shitty creator doesn’t support that creator.

Keep your F/O anon, and enjoy them.

If it makes you feel better you can always include your F/O in fanfiction that you know the creator would hate and be against!
