YEAH, SAME. aging a character up in a fic or whatever is actually a negative for me, lmao. if i’m on the fence about reading a fic and the author has made an underage character into an adult, that’s what convinces me to keep scrolling
You know how antis get pissed when you age up a character to ship them because that’s “pedophilia” or something? I’m like, the opposite of that. Why would you age up a character when they’re a perfectly good teenager you could ship with a much older adult? C’mon, we love age gaps
