You are very welcome. When it was published a lot of people here on Tumblr thought that I was making fun of Trigger Warnings (I wasn’t). I wanted to talk about what they were for and how they specifically helped or hindered fiction. Interestingly, I think the conversation over the last eight years has become more nuanced, as people have started to realize there are places where trigger warnings are absolutely appropriate and places where they aren’t, and that there is a lot of disagreement about whether they do any good in an academic context (this New Yorker article is a pretty good summary of the contemporary opinions and evidence). Mostly what I wanted was for people to think and to talk, and I’m so happy that they did. Enjoy the stories.

One

Relationship: Luis Serra x Leon Kennedy

Summary: There was time for one kiss. (drabble)

Rating: PG (fluff and angst, implied violence)

Somehow, in the middle of everything, there had been time for one kiss.

Just the one.

They stood back to back, panting and covered in splatters of blood and ichor, shoulders against shoulders.

“Nice shooting, cowboy.” Luis grabbed Leon’s hand and pulled him to face him, grinning that handsome, easy grin.

“Not so bad yourself,” Leon admitted dryly.

There was a beat of hesitation.

Luis threw an arm around him, and pulled him roughly in, lips against lips.

Beneath the smell of gore and panic that cling to them both, Leon would always remember the scent of Luis’ musky cologne.

hi! i’m super sorry if i’m bothering you, but i’ve got this little passion project i’m working on, i’ve been developing it for almost 15 years now. started when i was 7, i’m gonna be 22 in june. i was wondering if you could give me some tips? i really need help writing the ad, i want people to see it. i’d boost it (or the tumblr equivalent, i am an internet veteran but a newcomer to tumblr!) i suck ass at marketing things, could you help me at all, possibly?

Im not quite sure what kind of help you’re looking for, or if our internet marketing experience (which is mostly pre-social media) will help, but I’d be glad to share if you have specific questions.

“proship without saying it”

Believing it’s okay to make fiction is not a shameful thing people need to hide OR advertise. I know normal is antis favorite word– proship is normal!

Yeah, seems to be tumblr up to its usual tricks.

I only ask because I do have a policy of finding people who are interacting with me but have me blocked and blocking them. But this seems to be more generalized tumblr nonsense.
