Definitely a trope, anon, but not one we’re into.
We tend to enjoy very plot heavy or setting-contextual fic, so moving the characters we like into a generic, low stakes setting just to screw around and do normal people things doesn’t really do much for us.
We definitely get why people like it, but it’s not for us.
