Ohh oh, my relationship with Alexia is super problematic because she’s way smarter and superior to me and therefore there’s a horrible power imbalance in our relationship π

Honestly, we’re happy to answer any type of ask! We won’t always know the answer, but we’ll do our best!
I have a few pieces of advice for you!
First!
Your new proship sideblog doesn’t have to only be about ships that are problematic! You can totally post about your non-problematic F/Os and ships, and just hang out with all the cool proship people.
Proship isn’t about “problematic” after all, its about a community that doesn’t judge you for your ships.
We on this blog talk about non problematic ships all the time!
Second!
The easy way to safely talk about your recognizable OCs is two parts.
Third!
Making and sharing prompts and imagines based on your OCs sounds fun and great, an we would love to see your stuff when you share it!
I hope that all helped at least a little!
I don’t think it’s discrediting at all, anon, every relationship is different, and has different boundaries, and that counts for F/O relationships too!
We’re all very poly here and also fictionkin, so there are only a few ships involving our F/Os that we don’t like seeing.
Oh gosh, anon. That isn’t something we really have experience with, but it super does suck…
My best advice would be to either
a) avoid the source material as much as you can, and just enjoy your F/O outside of that
b) treat ‘canon’ as an AU to your canon with you and your F/O.
Whatever you do, make sure to block all the ship tags for the pairing you’re trying to avoid on tumblr!
π«π³ here to answer these. (ππ is still too shy to talk about her own relationship with Adachi.)
π€ Write about the first time you encountered your villain F/O.
He didn’t look like much when I met him. An overconfident city boy,s sent out into the boonies for making too much noise around the higher ups. Cute. A little obnoxious. Eager.
He reminded me of a kid, not in a way I hated, but in a way that weighed on my atrophied paternal instincts. I already had one kid I wasn’t taking good enough care of, and here I was, saddled with another as my partner.
I told myself I was going to try try not to get attached. Blew that one.
π€ Write about the time you and your villain F/O first admitted your care for one another.
It took ages and ages. Neither of us was an expressive man who talked about his feelings. Affection passed between us without comment for years. ‘Come over for dinner’. ‘You can borrow my jacket’. ‘Don’t give me that look’.
I don’t know when we admitted it. Maybe some night, laying in the dark next to each other, thinking about the twisted mess of our lives. Maybe we admitted it in the darkness, like it wasn’t real without the lights on.
Like we wouldn’t have to acknowledge it in the morning.
π Write about your villain F/O tending to your wounds.
Dojima hissed as Adachi wiped the cuts on his face down with a cotton ball swabbed in alcohol.
Adachi was smiling broadly, despite his partner’s bitter grumbling and sour face.
“Aw come on now, it’ll hurt more if it gets infected right?”
“I can do it myself you know,” Dojima protested. But he let Adachi keep at it.
Selfshippers who happen to also be proshippers are awesome, actually
