I could be wrong but since Tumblr updated their rules on 18+ stuff, we now have maturity labels for those that want to see that stuff, instead of posts not showing up at all

But they still haven’t changed it so that those tags don’t go to the shadow realm.

If you tag something as nsfw it goes to the shadow realm.

If you don’t tag it nsfw but you use the maturity labels, it does not go to the shadow realm.

You’d think they’d fix the tags.

Hi there, I hope you don’t mind me ranting as an ex-anti about some of the toxicity I’ve encountered in proship circles. I finally figured out why so many proshippers on twitter I’ve encountered are so happy to participate in harassment if it’s towards someone they dislike or disagree with, and it’s because a lot of them are also ex-antis who have yet to unlearn any anti rhetoric (that or they’re just toxic people in general). I’ve seen a lot of them do the exact same things that antis participate in – calling people slurs, telling people they can’t like certain fictional characters because it somehow reflects their IRL morals, harassing people over ship wars, doxxing, death threats, etc. This is why I took so long to become an ex-anti, personally, and it frustrates me that no one sees this as a problem, at least from what I’ve seen over there. Tumblr is a much saner place to be, because at least proshippers are willing to call out this behavior. It genuinely baffles me every single time I see someone doing this and turning out to be a proshipper. I know that proshipper =/= good person, but it still confuses me when I see someone preaching about anti-harassment, and then actively participating in it themselves.
