If your problem with people banning books is that they are banning the wrong books, you are just a different flavor of authoritarian.

in terms of the modern censorship of “"pornographic”“ books in classrooms, this is a dogwhistle for any books that contain queer content. there is not porn in classroom libraries. states like florida define any mention of non-heterosexual relationships, no matter how actually child-friendly, as pornographic and too sexual for children.
the book I was thinking of when I put the tags is the one where it shows the kids in the book naked, dildos and how to use them. I’m not referring to the lgbt books, I mean the actual pornographic books that get passed off as lgbt. I mean the ones that have actual sexual stuff in it. The other banned books have no reason to be banned as their just lgbt not sexual
That sounds like a book about sexual education/sex ed, which is important for young people to be able to access.
