Frankly I find pro-shippers odious just from the obnoxious and annoying way they can’t take disagreement in any form and the fact that you think the stupid sea-lion comic had any relevance is a big part of that. People disagree. If you don’t wanna face disagreement then truly and deeply, stop talking. It isn’t everyone else’s job to agree with you just because your arguments are “hur dur surely my perspective can’t be toxic”It can be. Does that mean that all people who ship are pedophiles or creeps? No.But we are constantly asked to check our preferences and why we believe stuff.
