I presume the trend spread organically from people seeing them around, but I don’t know who started it. It started with a fic writer who was a technical writer in their day job and wrote those kind of manuals. I believe they started with one for Aragorn Et voila! God i loved these so much, id read these manuel and tried to make a few of my own. It was one of our favorite formats to read for a while! They were so fun and it was neat to see what people did with the formula.
