← Previous Post Follow up question to the other anon asking about otherkin: Because I’ve heard otherkin/fictionkin folks talking about their “previous lives” I kind of assumed that was what I was experiencing, but also people say that being kin with something means being it entirely. I get really vivid memory flashes of other experiences/universes and I’ve sorted that into kintypes but the characters/kintypes don’t often feel super close to me and who I am: I don’t identify as them, although they’re part of me, but not all of me, and I’m not all of them. Sometimes they even feel foreign or invasive, but not always? Like they want different things than I do. Is this an otherkin experience or does this sound, like, delusional? Should I mention this to a psychiatrist whenever my therapist next makes me go? I’ve heard people talking about delusional attachments and I’m not sure what that is or if it matches better →
