🤝 nobody needs to understand an identity to respect that identity and the person who has it.

I don’t “get it” myself, but I’m not going to tell people how they get to identify themselves.

I have too much trauma from people who tried to force identities onto me, and take away my self-ascribed identity to be comfortable doing the same.
